What's in a name?

When brainstorming a name for our spa, we wanted something that meant exactly what we wanted our clients to feel - relaxed. Being engulfed in the French heritage of Louisiana for 20 years, and loving it so much that we call this beautiful place home, we knew we also wanted our vision to come to fruition through a French name. Thus, detendez-vous (pronounced day-tawn-day-voo) literally translates to relax, and that’s how our name was born. The second you open our door, relaxation will tiptoe around your sense of smell. If you are not quite sure what we mean by that, we invite you to come, relax yourself.
